The Hispanic Association of Delaware was established in 2017 with the purpose of enabling the prosperity of Latino families and residents in Delaware through timely educational, cultural, and community support, as well as the creation of collaborations to connect the Latino community with local resources and service providers.
The Hispanic Association of Delaware, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation operating exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
In 2021, we proudly acquired the building that now serves as our headquarters, where we host nearly all of our programs and courses. Today, we cater to a significant portion of Delaware’s Hispanic community, offering courses, programs, and events that foster development and empowerment. We engage with all generations, striving to empower and support Hispanic immigrants as they enhance their lives, their families’ lives, and the community overall.
We are honored to have received the Lt. Governor’s Award for our efforts in improving the health and wellness of Delaware’s residents, and the Division of Public Health award for our work in improving health outcomes for Hispanic mothers and their children.
