Discover Financial Services has entered into a partnership with HAAD, an organization dedicated to supporting Hispanic families as one of the Hispanic non-profits in the state of Delaware.
The partnership will help provide much needed mental health resources to the Hispanic community during the COVID pandemic and beyond. With mental illness on the rise and the stress and isolation of being at home during COVID, the organizations felt there was no better time than to come together to support their communities. “Discover has a long standing focus on Doing the Right Thing and Volunteerism,” said Angela Anacay, a Senior Manager at Discover and HOLA spokesperson. “These are two of Discover’s most important pillars, and our employee resources groups (ERGs), like HOLA (Helping Organize Latino Achievement), are dedicated to giving back to our Latino employees, partners, and our customers.” Discover provides employees the opportunity to volunteer through their various ERG groups and to help create better and brighter places to live and to work.
“Our partnership with Discover is a win-win for both of our organizations,” said the HAAD’s Director, Dr. Ronaldo Tello. “We look forward to seeing the positive impact we can have for the Hispanic community and the many families and chHildren that we support, starting with mental health resources.”

La asociación ayudará a proporcionar recursos para la salud mental muy necesarios para la comunidad hispana durante la pandemia de COVID y más allá.
